PRODUCTION AREA
Occasional dead White Shouldered House Moths found around the plant
on all levels. These moths are associated with old materials, including
deposits.
Deposits of dust settling onto the spaces between the corrugated
roof and the support beams had some evidence of webbing and is a
probable source.
In addition, deposits below the footings of support beam uprights
in the main area were infested, and pupal cases were removed from
here.

These insects live on old, usually dirty product. They are seldom
associated with clean materials. Detailed cleaning of the girders,
plant, and spaces around the fabric of the property will have a
greater impact than indiscriminate application of insecticide. It
is likely that the treatments are not getting to the source of the
infestation.
The footings appear to be providing a dirt trap that is infested.
It is essential that the debris is removed, and that the footing
is sealed. This prevents further accumulations, and will remove
an obvious breeding site for these insects.

I have set up a cleaning programme for this area, and will get
treatment started once cleaning is completed.
Footings cleaned and sealed with Grip-fill.
